I’m thinking about buying this. Tell me why I shouldn’t.

Because it says S60 on the back instead of V60.

cause the front rotors are rusted.
Don’t trust a car with rusty rotors.....
that good enough for you?

Nah.

Looks nice, are they asking a NP or CP?
![]() 03/15/2018 at 16:37 |

Because you prefer cars with less comfortable seats?

I mean I am the Cadillac Apologist.

Because, as we all know, the E9X has become the ubiquitous answer and this is not one of those.

$21k on a 2015 with the Turbo.

The E9X is the wrong answer to all of my questions

Seems reasonable.

Its tiny on the back
Its an old platform
It’s not a polestar
Haldex awd at best

Because I’m salty that I can’t buy it
![]() 03/15/2018 at 17:13 |

Because the center console design has too many buttons clustered together?

See ya

I quite like it.

It is Swedish just like IKEA which means that there are some screws missing and probably something installed upside down...

Unrelated - Did you know that Ikea gives out free replacement parts? Recently bought an Ikea dresser and wanted some built in cabinets in the room to match the handles on the dresser so figured we’d just go buy some at Ikea. Went to the spare parts department (customer service), told them the part numbers, they looked them up and said hmm we only have a few of those in stock, but can have the rest shipped to you from Canada or Sweden. We figured fine, whatever let’s do that, we’ll take what you’ve got. Charged us a total of $0 for like 12 handles, 3 of which they shipped over to me from Sweden within a week.
Say what you want about Ikea quality (their higher end stuff is actually quite nice), but if Volvo has customer support like that I’m even more sold on buying an XC60/V60 for the wife when it’s time to replace the current family car.

Other than a car note? Nah. Go for it if you can afford it.

Do it! My dad has a pre-refresh S60 T5 and it’s a fantastic car

There’s probably a reason why you shouldn’t, but that gorgeous color combo isn’t one of them.

There is a slight possibility you may find it impossible to leave the driver’s seat, because literally EVERYTHING is less comfortable.

Assuming it is new and you get a significant discount it would be a decent deal. The car drives nicely but the electronics are a bit dated.

I always liked those. And that color combo looks really nice.

Because the new V/S60 is on the way, and it looks like this:

Usually for me the part that needs fixing is the assembler. I should just have James May build my furniture.
